Kayak & Boat in the Quilotoa Lake

On the shores of the Quilotoa Lagoon is a protected area called "La Playita Quilotoa." Here, you can take a boat or kayak to ride on the waters of the Quilotoa. The trail Quilotoa Beach (La Playita Quilotoa) leads to the pier located on the shore of the green Quilotoa lake.

Boats/Kayaks are available for rent on site.
No reservation is required.
There are restrooms on site.

Quilotoa Green Lake covers an area of 307 hectares at an altitude of 3,730 meters above sea level. You can navigate in circuits or as a single tour. You can also observe local birds and visit sites of interest such as Lucky Island, Lobo Uctu and Mortiño Púgru.
